This site was created with the hope of helping parents
that are coming to the realization that there may be something just not right with
their child. Their child is a little off or different than other children.
Phrase it however you like but there is a little something there that requires
your full and immediate attention. Your child may be riding the spectrum of
Autism.
This spectrum is wide and very diverse. This “thing”,
whatever it is shows its face in many different ways and many different levels
of severity.
If you are like us, as soon as you have come to the
conclusion that there is something there that needs your attention, you want to
be “all over it”. You want to become a warrior for your child and educate
yourself and support them in everyway possible for the rest of their life.
This site and the collection of resources we have
assembled may help you get the jump start that you need.
Remember we are not
doctors or professionals in this field. We are parents like you who love our child
and want to do everything we can for him. So please verify for yourself any and
all information you may get from this site. Do your due diligence and seek the
guidance of doctors and professionals before trusting or implementing anything
this site or any of the links may make you aware of.
Good luck to you and your family. Our prayers are with
you and remember Victory is the only option when it comes to your children.

Contained
in the above 60 or so sites are numerous links to other sites and great
resources (you can easily navigate to well over 1000 related sites from what
you have here) but however do not drive yourself crazy.
Check
out an adequate amount of the above sites. Allow yourself to get a good
foundation. What I am about to tell you is the best advice I can give you.
You will learn the most about your child’s challenge and what resources
and approaches are available from parents of other children with similar and
related conditions. As we sit in the waiting rooms of the many classes and
programs we have enrolled our child in as well as seminars and support groups
my wife and I have attended we meet many great caring parents. These parents are
in the same boat that we are in and we exchange experiences, successes,
failures, information and sometimes even a good cry. Everyday more and more
families are touched by this epidemic and more and more people learn about it
and spread their knowledge. We will overcome this “thing”. As I mentioned
before victory is the only option but you can not do it alone so reach out,
educate yourself and take action. Most of all in the heat of the battle
remember to give and show your child more love than you ever thought possible.
Down the road when you stand toe to toe with your adult son or daughter and the
two of you look back and discuss the victory it will be very apparent that it
was your love for your child that made it possible.
Our prayers are with
you and your child.
